Marianas Terrestrial Conservation Conference & Workshop

Sharing Knowledge and Experiences in Conservation  and Management from the CNMI and Guam

Location: Guam Community College, Mangilao, Guam


Details: Presentations on topics related to terrestrial conservation in the Marianas. The themes include: bird conservation, non-avian animal conservation, plant conservation, community & watershed ecology, invasive animal threats, invasive plant and fungal threats, and soil and water conservation. The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion on each topic. In addition, there will be a poster session.

This year, the conference will be combining with the annual Brown Treesnake meeting, with a focus on brown treesnake-related research presentations on Wednesday, November 14.

Tentative Schedule:
Tuesday, November 13: General presentations, evening poster session
Wednesday, November 14: Brown treesnake-focused research presentations, evening career fair
Thursday, November 15: Morning field trips, afternoon presentations, awards, closing panel
